2017 Perimeter Running Challenge! 


We are very excited this year to launch our Perimeter Challenge. Our Challenege will begin on the Monday of Active Schools Week 24/04/17. 

Each class will be trying to see how many laps of the school perimeter they can complete. Children will encouraged to find a comfortable pace of running!

To begin classes will follow the following training plan.

 Juniors/Lang. Unit: Walk with short jogging bursts.
Seniors/First: Walk for five minutes, jog for two and walk again for three.
Second: Walk for 3minutes, jog for three minutes, walk for three minutes, jog for a minute.
Third/fourth/Fifth/Sixth: Brisk Walk for one minute, jog for three minutes, sprint for one minute, jog for three minutes, sprint for one minute and jog for one minute. 

Teachers will records results which will be displayed in school.
